• Our birthday boy was born February 24, 1955. • He was the chairman, CEO, and co-founder of Apple and is widely recognized as a pioneer of the personal computer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s. • This tech guru took technology to the world of animation, forming Pixar, which produced the first 3D computer animated feature film, Toy Story, and went on to become a major animation studio, producing over 20 films since then. • He helped bring us the iMac, iTunes, iTunes Store, Apple Store, iPod, iPhone, App Store, and the iPad. • Sadly, he’s no longer with us, as he died of respiratory arrest related to a tumor at age 56 in 2011.
