Black Panther had a record-setting three-day gross for a February opening of $192 million. The latest Marvel superhero picture sold nearly four times as many tickets as the rest of the Top 5 put together! The weekend box office chart, Friday – Sunday:

Using the hashtag #DontRushMe, Mark Hamill of Star Wars fame took to social media Saturday to reassure his public that he had not, as Internet trolls had claimed, died. Meanwhile, internet trolls were busy last week pushing fake stories and images claiming violence at theaters showing Black Panther. In response, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn tweeted: “The racists are out and rearing their ugly heads with lots of fake tweets about violence at #BlackPanther screenings. Don’t let this BS scare you away.”

Fergie sang the National Anthem at the NBA All-Star Game last night. Fergie seemed to have a hard time hitting the song’s high notes, and sang it as if it was a sexy tune and as you can imagine, folks on social media couldn’t help but share their thoughts on the performance. Some people downright hated it, and others couldn’t help but compare it to Marilyn Monroe singing “Happy Birthday” to JFK. People were a little put off by Kevin Hart’s players introductions at the All-Star Game. His comedy is hit or miss, and it seemed to miss with a lot of the crowd. Source: People

Jamie Foxx continues to remain hush-hush about his relationship with Katie Holmes. He walked off a live interview with ESPN after an interviewer asked Foxx about his Valentine’s Day basketball practice with Katie. Foxx took his headphones off and walked out of the interview while smiling at the camera.Source: People

Ratings for the Winter Games have plummeted 8% from the Winter Games four years ago and last Friday continued the downward trend. A total of 19.2 million people checked out the competition on the NBC family of networks, tying Valentine’s Day for the lowest numbers in this year’s Olympics. Omarosa regained control of the house and got vengeful in the eviction nominations in Celebrity Big Brother. In the end, Omarosa put Ross Mathews and Brandi Glanville up on the block. She only put Ross up for eviction because he did it to her last week and it’s payback time.

One of Jennifer Aniston’s friends reportedly says that she and Justin Theroux met up in Los Angeles on Valentine’s Day, just one day before they decided to go public about their breakup. Apparently, they had trouble agreeing about when to reveal to the world they had called it quits. Lionel Richie is keeping a tight lip about his daughter Sofia Richie’s relationship with Scott Disick and he thinks it’s just a phase. Richie says, “I’m going to stand real still in the corner, get me a good drink and not make too much noise.” Despite Scott’s reputation with the Kardashians, it seems Richie doesn’t have much of an opinion of him. “I don’t really know what to think,” Richie offers. “I told Sofia I will have no opinion. It’s officially time to start getting excited about the Oscars. The first round of awards presenters have been announced. They are Mahershala Ali, Chadwick Boseman, Viola Davis, Laura Dern, Jennifer Garner, Tiffany Haddish, Greta Gerwig, Tom Holland, Kumail Nanjiani, Margot Robbie, Emma Stone and Daniela Vega. As the reigning Best Supporting Actor, Ali will likely present Supporting Actress, and as Best Supporting Actress, Davis will probably hand out Supporting Actor. The Oscars air live on ABC on March 4th.
