Johnny Depp apparently learned nothing from Kathy Griffin when he made a joke about assassinating Donald Trump during an appearance in England. He said, “I think [Trump] needs help and there are a lot of wonderful dark, dark places he could go,” adding, “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president? I want to clarify. I am not an actor. I lie for a living. Bill Cosby is going on a speaking tour in an attempt to help educate people about sexual assault laws. According to his team, this issue affects “any young person, especially young athletes of today” and “married men.” Cosby wants to do this because “anything at this point can be considered sexual assault.” A list of dates and cities haven’t been finalized yet. Robert Murray, Murray Energy and other associated coal companies are suing HBO and John Oliver, claiming the comedian talk show host created a “villainous” portrait of Murray on Last Week Tonight. HBO says they haven’t seen the complaint, but are confident Oliver didn’t do anything wrong. Murray is also suing the New York Times over an editorial that discussed a deadly 2007 mine collapse in Utah that left seven workers dead. That particular mine was co-owned by Murray Energy. Jay Leno has a gig on July 1st in East Hampton, but the East Hampton Airport won’t give his airplane permission to land because his private jet is too big for the airfield. That means that he’ll have to land an hour’s drive away from where the Guild Hall Season Spectacular will be held.
Alec Baldwin was walking around the Monmouth University campus in New Jersey with his security detail in his Donald Trump makeup and costume. Wearing a long red tie and blond wig, Alec strolled around the grounds taking photos as surprised onlookers watched. He waved to the gathering crowd but didn’t stop to talk or be photographed. Stephen Colbert has made a secret trip to Russia. He posted a photo of him walking outside the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He was dressed like a spy in a beige trench coat. Colbert sub-tweeted President Donald Trump, who denied yesterday any that he had any recordings of his conversations with James Comey. Colbert replied on Twitter, “Don’t worry, Mr. President. I’m in Russia. If the ‘tapes’ exist, I’ll bring you back a copy!” It’s likely we’ll see his visit next week. (The Hollywood Reporter)
The newest class of Hollywood Walk of Fame inductees has been announced. Two of the inductees – Lin-Manuel Miranda and Weird Al Yankovic – happened to be having lunch together when they got the word. Star Wars actor Mark Hamill along with Oscar-winning Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence are among the 34 stars who will receive Walk of Fame stars in 2018. Jack Black, Nick Nolte, Kirsten Dunst, X-Files star Gillian Anderson, TV Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter, American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy, drag-queen legend RuPaul, Mary J. Blige, Harry Connick Jr, Ice T, Snoop Dogg and Carrie Underwood will all get stars. Each has two years to schedule their star ceremonies before their selections expire.
Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s twins were born on June 12th. Rumor has it that the boy and girl’s names are Shawn and Bea, but so far, there has been no official confirmation of the names. Shawn is Jay’s real name, and Bea could be shorter version of Beyoncé’s name. Source: MediaTakeOut

Actor Cedric Yarborough, who also stars on ABC’s Speechless, called Mariah “borderline abusive” noting that she showed up three to four hours late for the shoot, and then was uncooperative and demanding. He did hold back on what he said was the “worst part” of her behavior, noting he would tell people in person if they are cool. Finally, he wrote, “I miss “I had a vision of love” Mariah.
