Prosecutors and Bill Cosby’s defense have given closing statements in his retrial. The defense has urged the jurors to “acquit Mr. Cosby.” Prosecutors have painted Cosby as a serial predator. After learning that Cavs star Tristan Thompson used social media to shop for hook-ups, his baby mama, Khloe Kardashian demanded that he delete his Instagram account. She reportedly felt that with the broken trust they have, it is hard for them to rebuild when so many random women have easy access to Tristan online. Kourtney Kardashian has gone to Washington D.C. to meet with members of congress. She is working with the Environmental Working Group to help update an 80-year-old FDA law on personal care items. Kris Jenner tweeted twice Monday night to deny stories published by People magazine. She declared “Lies Lies Lies” to the magazine headline “Kanye West Has Had Explosive Fights with Kris Jenner & Kim Kardashian Can’t Control Him.” According to the story, Kris Jenner is concerned that Kanye’s erratic behavior has harmed Kim’s popular brand. And in response to the People magazine claim that Kanye “seems to be on the edge” and “very hard to deal with right now,” Kris tweeted, “Nope…not true!”
Blac Chyna’s mom, Tokyo Toni filed a handwritten lawsuit against Wendy Williams for defamation. She claimed that Wendy was spreading lies about her being a “gold-digging stripper.” In February, a judge told Toni, whose real name is Shalana Jones-Hunter, that if she couldn’t prove that she’d served Wendy with the paperwork, the case would be dismissed. Allison Mack is free on $5 million dollars bond after being arrested for her role in an alleged sex cult. She’s currently in plea negotiations, but both sides agreed she could be on house arrest in California. She’ll have to wear an ankle monitor and can’t have contact with any NXIVM members, including her wife, Nicki Clyne. Her next court appearance will be May 3rd. Jessica Chastain has responded to another actress Asia Argento who claims she was left out of the Time’s Up movement. Argento, a Harvey Weinstein accuser says she wasn’t included because she wasn’t a well known actress. Chastain tweeted back at her saying that she invited Argento to her home for the first Time’s Up meeting. And Amber Tamblyn added to Chastain’s comments saying, quote – “None of us needed an invitation to do the work. We just did the work. Period. Rapper Meek Mill was released from jail after violating probation on a gun and drug case. His prison sentence appeared to be rather harsh and he was supported by celebrities, like Beyonce and Jay-Z, Kevin Hart and the owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, who helicoptered Mill to the 76er playoff game. He sat courtside with Hart and showered in the team’s locker room before the game. They handed Meek a jersey to be an honorary player for the night and he rang the ceremonial bell before tip-off, a Sixers’ tradition at home games. The fans in the arena erupted in approval. When Meghan Markle says, “I do,” to Prince Harry next month, they’ll be serenaded by a gospel choir from southeast England. They’re incorporating it with choral works to make a joyful noise when they get married. Busy Phillipps, Jon Cryer and Kristin Davis are among those who’ve contributed to a GoFundMe to help James Shaw Junior, the man who wrestled the gun away from alleged Waffle House shooter Travis Reinking. The campaign has raised more than $50,000 for Shaw, likely for a college fund for his daughter. Davis, who pitched in $500, says, “I just donated and it feels good! Good to help someone who stood up and did the right thing, thank you James Shaw Junior! And I love everyone who is donating too!” (TMZ, The Blast)

Bob Dorough, the musician behind many of the great Schoolhouse Rock! songs has died. While Dorough’s music was loved by children, he was also a respected jazz pianist. “Schoolhouse Rock” is a series that originally ran from 1973-85 as Saturday-morning short-form content. The official cause of death for Night Court star Harry Anderson was a stroke, but influenza and heart disease are listed on his death certificate as contributing factors. Anderson, who passed away last week, was 65.
