SANDUSKY BAY AREA CHEF’S ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP DINNER, Saturday 6-9pm at Sawmill Creek in Huron. Culinary Arts students will prepare fantastic food for sampling, plus silent auctions and ice carvings. Money raised goes to scholarships for culinary students.
ARCTIC ICE FESTIVAL, Battery Park in Sandusky, Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm, with model boat building for kids, special exhibits and education programs, soup cook-off, ice carving and diving demonstrations, and tours of the Underground Railroad.
ICE A-FAIR TO REMEMBER, downtown Vermilion, Saturday 11am-4pm, with ice sculptures and trolley tours.
OUT OF STERNO, a live coming-of-age play at the The Fremont Community Theatre at 8pm January 20-22 & 27-29.
THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK, a live show with flutist and world renown jazz historian Mark Gridley, along with saxophonist Brian Lang and the Michael Shirtz Quartet at the Sandusky State Theatre Friday at 8pm.
